Math homework can feel like a losing battle at times. It may not be turned in, maybe not the biggest impact, or maybe something else could be given that is more meaningful. Here is an idea for math homework, and it goes right along with common core.

Math Homework

Here is your quote for the day. We do want students to be successful, but what about when they are not? That's where the grit and persistence comes into play, and we need students to have that. We need students to know how to accomplish the hard tasks too, and to not give up. We need every student to be successful.

That quote is from Principal El, and here is a recent video from him on the importance of every single student in your classroom. Every student matters, and they need to know and hear that. From the video "Excellent teachers move ordinary children to extraordinary things."
