We had several great activities in December, both for students and families. Pictures from the last week of school include preschool learning during their steam class, Christmas parties, December leaders of the month, the annual food drive, sharpen the paw, the family night event with Christmas dinner, and many happy and smiling kids.

As we start a new year, this article is a great reminder. We see everyday the importance for preschool and early childhood education that includes kindergarten, that poverty is just a starting place and not a determining factor for the future, how every teacher and staff member matters, that equal is not the same as equitable, the importance of constant learning both for students and staff, and the power of collaboration:
