Today is tie Tuesday. We also have grade level teaming for 1st-5th today.

This is a short article that we can relate to at Harrison. We often intervene and use restorative practices with situations that revolve around skin color, languages spoken, and where a student was born. With little kids, the hope is that we can plant seeds that will create understanding and a global perspective. All students will be leading together as adults in our community. As this article states: "Teachers need to emphasize the importance of empathy, inclusion, and respect as they interact with both groups of students." Some countries separate students who are refugees, but we integrate all students:
