Kindergarten visits the pumpkin patch today.

We have our annual Title 1 family survey ready. Please share with families, and we will also have chromebooks with the survey available at our family night in November:

Title 1 Family Survey

I love this blog post. Whether you are a mom, an aunt, a sister, or a father: we all have family. We all have special people in our lives, even great friends. This post is a reminder that what you do everyday is important, even if at times it feels like it takes away from your family. Your classroom and the kids you work with everyday, like the post states, is an extension of your kitchen tables and living rooms. As the article also states, you are teaching your loved ones many important skills like passion and selflessness:

A letter to my children (or any family member/friend in your life)

This is a great article that reminds about the importance of working respectfully with others, even when there are differences. How we as adults work together is then modeled to our students. Whether they are online or in person with other people, how they treat and work with others is an important skill to learn. This might be a spoiler alert: people have differences. Those differences can be thought of as an asset in situations, or as a hindrance. That decision is up to you. As the article reminds, remember the good in people:

Together Everyone Achieves More

So true:
