This is a great overview of what we are striving for at our school in regards to restorative justice practices and being proactive with students, instead of just reactive and punitive consequences. This fits very well with Leader in Me. When we listen and dig deeper with students, we help to develop positive life long skills with our students. There is also a short video clip:

You can't deny that we have fun at our school. Sometimes home situations are heart breaking, but school can provide the smiles and positivity that our students need to experience. Our kids need that. We even have a fun committee:
