The Pre/K standards have recently been updated. Thank you to Lindsay for sharing the link. If you've never visited our preschool classrooms, I encourage you to visit them. It really is impressive what the students are learning. They are learning early numeracy and math skills that are preparing them for the common core kindergarten standards, as well as other skills such as social emotional development. Here is a comment from the state department that explains the update:

The State Department of Education and Head Start Collaborative Office have just completed the revisions to the Idaho Early Learning eGuidelines that are Idaho's State Standards for Early Childhood Special Education programs.

Moorseville North Carolina has often been recognized in the last couple years for their academic achievement and technology integration. They even have wi-fi on some school buses, which park around neighborhoods, so students can access the internet at home. Here is a recent video about their changes and successes.
