Anne did a great job on a welcome bulletin board by the front door. As we are completing conferences this week, what a great way to welcome families. I turned the bulletin board into a book. This is a great option for making class books.

Virtual field trips are a great way to inform students about topics that they might not otherwise get to visit in real life, such as museums around the world.
The annual peregrine falcon in Boise is back. Often the webcams can be viewed while students are working on other tasks, on your front board, and are great non-fiction science topics. Students can also view the same webcams at home with their families; which is a great way to increase engagement with families. They are able to be informed and involved in what their child is learning about at school.
